Trevor turned 3 on August 11! It came a little to soon for me this year...Ian started kindergarten and my baby turned 3. Trevor loves Mickey Mouse and his love for tractors and mowers also figured into his birthday this year. I decided to make him two cakes for his birthday this year, mainly because he couldn't decide which one he wanted. So, he got Mickey and a JOhn Deere tractor cake! Not sure which one he was more excited about, but he couldn't wait to dig into them. Just like last year, he was so eager to blow out his candles that he wouldn't let me get them lit. I'd light one and he'd blow it out! He had a great time on his birthday this year and his favorite gifts were his big ride-on tractor & trailer and his SpongeBob fishing pole. He is quite the little fisherman and loves to go fishing with SpongeBob now. We had a full house as the family all piled in for the party....Mammy & Granddad, Nanny & Poppy, Aunt Alice & Uncle Brian, Bailey, Levi & Jess, Jenifer & Shirley, and of course Mom, Dad, and big brother! It's hard to believe that he is growing up...and doing it so quickly too! Here's a couple of pictures from his birthday party!

Our little visitors
Well, we finally got a visit from the nephews. Nathan and Gabriel came for a visit and what a great time we all had! The boys all jumped in there and played like they've been doing it forever. We played at our house where the boys had a great time playing outside in the pool and with the sit & spin sprinkler. Both Nate and Ian really wanted to get on it, but they were kind of afraid of the spraying water. Then, of course, we had to get the water guns out and everyone got a good squirting. We spent a day at Great-Grandma's house and played in the pool, which was nice due to the steaming hot weather. The boys all decided to climb Pop's rock pile and see who could be "king of the mountain" and then there was the books. Mammy brought boxes of books for the kiddos and utter chaos reigned in the house for a bit as books were flying every which way. They had a great time and we all enjoyed the time spent together. We are very much looking forward to Christmas when we get to do it all over again!
