Playin' 'Possum!!

I just had to post these few pics. Anyone that knows Trevor, knows that he has to have his favorite blue "blankie" for his naps and bedtimes. I caught him the other day prior to naptime with his blanket draped over his head and he kept telling me he was ready for nightnight. Well, he was ready for sleep, but had to lay down with his Dad and Ian first. I caught the 3 of them playing possum.....guess they thought it would get them out of the real thing. I think Dad was the only one really serious about sleeping. Anyway, here's my favorite guys and they are definitely three peas-n-a-pod!

Awwww, what a tired boy

They think they're fooling me! lol

One down......Two to go!

Burnt Marshmellow, anyone?

Well, anyone that knows my Momma & StepDad know that they're constantly burning something on the weekends. Bonfires are a specialty of Mammy & GrandDad's and the boyos love to go burn a fire in the forest! We headed up to Miller one weekend to see them and of course, there was a bonfire just waiting to be lit. We loaded up the 4-wheeler with goodies and drinks and headed out to the fire. Ian had to make marshmellows for everyone and Trevor thought it would be good to share with the dogs too. The boys love to stand there and toss sticks into the fire and each were armed with flashlights on their hunt for good ones. We had a great time sitting round the fire and just enjoying each other's company.

A Fishing We will Go!

Well, we have finally discovered a favorite pasttime for the! They love it and want to go all the time! Well, we took an afternoon and spent it at the creek fishing and splashing around. After the first 5 minutes, Ian caught the first (and only) fish! It was a tiny little bass and he didn't want to get near it, but was extremely excited that he caught it. Both of the boys have really been practicing on their casting & reeling and they are getting pretty good at it. Here's some of the pictures that i captured that day.

Trevor got tired of fishing and decided splashing was more fun!

TeePee Time!

As I was busy cleaning the kitchen the other day, I started to hear alot of ruckus coming from the boys' room. "Oh, boy, what are they up to now" is what i was thinking amidst the sounds of laughing, giggling, and a loud thumping noise. Of course, being the Mom that i am, I had to check it out. I found Donovan and the boys squeezed into their T-Pee play tent. How they got Dad squeezed in there with them is beyond me, but they loved it and had a great time playing with him. I decided to snap a few pictures and here they are......
